Winter at the Historic Reesor Ranch

Winter is one of the most beautiful times in the Cypress Hills, and this year we’re opening our doors for a limited number of winter weekends. Snow-covered hills, quiet pine trails, a crackling fire, and a warm meal waiting when you come in from the cold.

Our Winter Stay weekends are when the ranch comes alive in winter, with the kitchen open, the toboggan hill ready, and the trails groomed. Want to stay longer? Contact us about extending your stay before or after these dates. 

What’s Waiting for You

• Toboggan hill: Our hill will be groomed and ready for sliding. [Toboggans available to borrow  or bring your own]
• Snowshoeing: Strap on a pair and explore the Kinnikinnick Trail, groomed for winter. [Snowshoes available to borrow or bring your own]
• ATV tours: See the ranch from a different angle on a tracked ATV, or hitch a ride in our enclosed Viking and take in the snowy hills in comfort. Learn More Here
• Our kitchen is open: For the first time, we’ll be serving meals throughout your winter stay. Ranch Hall Grill at the Historic Reesor Ranch
• Fireside evenings: Gather around the fire and settle in with a local glass of wine in our ranch hall.
• The Cypress Hills in winter: Frosted pines, wide skies, and a stillness you won’t find in summer.
