Thanks to you and your family for making our riding vacation a huge success. We will be talking about this one for months to come. I have ridden all through the foothills of Alberta and neither the scenery nor the people hold a candle to what we experienced as your guests. Your hospitality was priceless. Thank you again for all you and your family did. Leanne, Donna, George, Gordon, Pauline, and Heather! Saskatoon,Saskatchewan.

We just came home from your log cabin today.  What a beautiful spot your guys have.  So wonderful we didn’t want to leave.  Thank you for making something that others can enjoy like us.  My dad always bragged of how beautiful the Cypress Hills were and we have spent a fair bit of time in them, but your spot, solitude and rustic feel is right up our alley.  Only regret not taking dad up for the weekend, but I feel he was there with us too.  Thanks again and God bless. Dwayne.

My family and I were so excited to have a Christmas getaway in a quiet cabin. Our stay at Reesor Ranch didn’t disappoint! The cabin was perfect and the kids loved it. We enjoyed a hike to the cliff and beautiful views. We had lots of fun tobogganing and even watched a cow and bull moose casually walk in front of the cabin while we had lunch. The staff was super hospitable and just left us to do our thing. The cabin was more than we expected And we can’t wait to plan our next trip out! Thank you for sharing your little piece of paradise.

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful ranch for only one day/night as we were travelling home to Ontario from a trip west. We wish we could have stayed longer. WE stayed in the Log Cabin which is very private and peaceful. Fortunately, because we have used our own cottage in the winter we have practice getting along without running water and indoor bathroom facilities so we weren’t fazed by that rustic experience. The cabin is nicely appointed , the beds are comfortable and we loved sitting on the front porch sipping wine and watching deer trip lightly across the drive in front of us. Theresa and Scott make you feel at home and although we were too late in the season to enjoy the delicious sounding meals in the dining room, Theresa arranged pizza for us which was also very yummy. Our favourite part of the stay and reason for coming in the first place was an amazing horseback ride, led by Dee, through the woods and over the Cypress Hills. The view was stunning and our horses were well behaved allowing us to have a comfortable, confident ride. Dee was great – friendly, helpful and fun to be with. When we were leaving I remarked to Scott that we were sorry to have missed hearing him recite some of his cowboy poetry He immediately obliged with a beautiful poem reminiscing about his childhood and love of family and home on the ranch. All in a all this was a highlight of your month long trip across the western provinces. Thanks, Theresa, Scott, Dee and Jason ( who arranged the ride for us).  Anne

Such a great stay! The family was extremely welcoming and helpful and the location is so idyllic.  The log cabin is a cozy little gem. Don’t miss the steak dinner with a side of cowboy poetry!  Leah

We had a great weekend at the Log cabin. Loved everything there. Super friendly and nice staff! Cowboy, the Ranch dog became my best friend there.  He made it so much harder to leave 🙂 I will definitely come back!
