round 'em up at the Historic Reesor Ranch!

Originally built in 1905 with hand
hewn logs from the Cypress Hills, this historic barn, once used to
stable horses and cattle, has been carefully restored
to preserve its original log walls and rustic atmosphere. We are proud to be
promoting Saskatchewan's Architectural Heritage which is a non-renewable resource.
With a desire to honour our ranching neighbours all of our barn bedrooms
are named after local pioneer ranch families. Decorated with their
historic family photos & stories you will learn the
fascinating history of our local Cypress Hills ranch neighbours:

GUEST COMMENTS:
We were so impressed with the cleanliness
and decor of the log barn. You have done a great job with it. Our
Leslie was excited to be able to sleep in the Leslie Ranch room. It was an
enjoyable history lesson to check out the different rooms. We have some great
family memories of kids chasing grandpa with the lasso and vice versa, ping pong
and fooseball games, hikes and horses. It was a great weekend. We
will certainly recommend Reesor Ranch to friends. Thank you again.

I really don't know where to begin to describe
how much our entire family enjoyed the log barn. There are so many treasures in
there!! My Dad was thrilled to be able to tell us what some of the
artifacts were, but there were a few that eluded him!! (One we found out later
from Theresa was a berry picker!) The rooms were all so cute, not over
done at all. The kitchen was more than we expected, what a great work and
serving area. The games room is really good! We are a family of
campers and having power and fridges was really a treat for all of us!! We
will definitely be back and next time the kids will be a bit older so hopefully
we can enjoy the horses as well next visit. The boys really enjoyed the
calf roping lesson!! The ranch is a true treasure. Thank you.
